Need some discipline in this blogging thing... So here's too trying something new!

I just cannot seem to get the blogging thing. But I'm thinking about just using this to post things I like, recipes I try or come up with, and pics of my kiddos. So today I'm gonna post a recipe that We love! Turkey Italian Meatloaf! It's a italian spin on meatloaf, and it's super healthy and filling!

So what u need is....
1 lb of ground turkey
1 lb of italian turkey sausage
fresh parsley
Fresh basil
1 cups of finely diced carrots
1 cup or more of sweet onion
2 cloves of minced garlic
1 tsp of dried oregano
Salt and pepper
2 to 3 eggs
1 to 2 cups of old fashioned rolled oats

Then you this....
Chop up the parsley, I use about a handful, and chop 4 basil leaves (be careful to not bruise them, dice up the onion, garlic, and carrots and then throw everything in a big mixing bowl and squish it up with your hands. Yes u said use your hands. It doesn't work as well without your hands. Then you form it into loaves, this usually makes 2 good sized loaves. I put them in a well greased with olive oil, glass baking dish. Then you top it with your favorite marinara sauce, I make my own with crushed tomatoes, garlic and onion powder, basil, oregano, parsley, and natures seasoning.
Bake on 350 for one hour covered and about 20 minnutes uncovered.
I serve the with mashed potatoes with rosemary.
I will post that recipe tomorrow.

Enjoy!
